Why ArmorLiner Is The Ultimate Liner
Over its lifetime, your vehicle will endure marks, dents, and scuff marks on the paint that will result in expensive repairs and possibly lead to the development of rust that will cause permanent damage to the metal.
If you're trying to give your vehicle a different look that offers the latest and best level of protection, look no further than ArmorThane's ARMORLINER. Trucks, SUVs, and other vehicles with ARMORLINER have a rugged look as well as an armored surface that safeguards against scraping and marking. ArmorThane
ARMORLINER is ideal for all people from the hardcore off-roader to the custom car fanatic.
Custom Features:
One of the most remarkable things about ARMORLINER is that it cannot only be completely customized in a way that suits your style, but it also contributes full-body durable security. ARMORLINER remains unyielding to gouging, rips, tears, and scuffs.
ArmorLiner is a two-component, 1 to 1, 100% solid, fast set, liquid applied polyurea liner system for metal, concrete, fiberglass, and wood surfaces.
MIXING:
Volume mix ratio is 1 part Side A to 1 part Side B. ArmorLiner may not be diluted under any situations. Thoroughly mix Side B Polyol Resin with air-driven control machinery until a homogeneous mixture and color are achieved.
APPLICATION PROCESS:
Pigmentation: ArmorLiner Side B Polyol Resin demands that 100 grams of ArmorThane pigment be mixed into every one US gallon.
SURFACE PREPARATION:
In general, coating administration and adhesion are directly comparative to surface preparation. Most failures in the appearance of surface coatings can be connected to poor surface preparation. Polyurea coatings rely on the fundamental strength of the substrate to which they are coated on. All surfaces must be free of dust, dirt, corrosion, and other contaminants. When coating substrates earlier used, it is important to consider the likelihood of substrate absorption, which may modify the coating system's adhesion, despite the surface preparation. ArmorThane understands the potential for individual substrates from one project to another. An adhesion test is advised prior to starting any project. Refer to the technical bulletins in the ArmorThane Operations Manual concerning the preparation method for the substrate.
APPLICATION:
ArmorLiner is spray applied using the ArmorThane Highline plural component spray machinery.
Both ArmorLiner Side A and Side B materials should be preconditioned at 80-90oF (27-32oC) before applying.
ArmorLiner materials should be coated at temps over 150oF. Adequate pressure and heat should be maintained at all times. ArmorLiner should be sprayed in smooth, multidirectional coats to increase uniform thickness and shape.
PACKAGING:
ArmorLiner comes in a 100-gallon drum kit: 50 gallons per drum Side A ISO and 50 gallons per drum Side B Polyol Resin.
SAFETY AND HANDLING:
Do not handle until the Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for each component have been read and understood. Regulations require that all employees be trained on Safety Data Sheets for all chemicals they encounter.
THIS PRODUCT CONTAINS ISOCYANATE AND CURATIVE MATERIAL:
ArmorLiner has a shelf life of six months from the date of manufacture in original, factory sealed containers.
Both Side A ISO and Side B Polyol Resin drums must be stored above 60oF; avoid exposure to freezing temperatures. Store drums on wooden pallets to avoid direct contact with the ground.
Suppose stored for a long period, rotating drums (both Side A and Side B) regularly. Do not begin using drums until ready to use.
